New for 2022
New for 2022 is our 90s era. Kings Square will play host an incredible range of Mk 1,2,3 and 4 cars. All you 70s and 80s kids, get ready to meet the car you learnt to drive in, had your first kiss in, sang along to Top of the Pops in, and all those other nostalgic firsts. There will also be a stage in the square with 90s inspired dance and music performances.
Retro on the Water
A series of beautifully crafted vintage boats will be gracing Gloucester Docks at this year's retro event. Some of the boats are nearly a hundred years old. Why not take to the water and experience Retro from a different angle? Boats in the Basin will be highly decorated and the best will win a prize. The Canal and River Trust will be displaying some of their fascinating artefacts and running activities. Boat trips will be available from the pontoon near North Warehouse. For full information on the historic boats download the guide here. You can collect a boat kit to make your own retro boat from the National Waterways Museum. On Toast in the Docks have a Gloucester Goes Retro special menu offering Fish Finger toasties.
